Rare book. Stated second edition. Published in Chicago by The Lakeside Press, 1912. Copyright 1911. Extensively illustrated with black and white photographs and four maps.

The cover is worn with scuffs and stains. There is some pulling/splitting between pages and binding is a little loose, with the hinges cracked. The blank endpages had some paper pasted to them and removed. The words, “You Can Get it at Fitch-smithers Co.,” are stamped there. A cute picture of Kewpie Dolls is pressed onto the black page. SOLD

The Lives and Graves of Our Presidents

by G. S. Weaver, D.D.

Pretty Victorian-era volume chronicling the U.S. presidents from George Washington to Benjamin Harrison. There is an engraving of each president. In the back of the book, there is a chapter titled, "An Analysis of the American Government" which also contains the U.S. Constitution. 530 pages total.

Published by The National Book Concern, Chicago, copyright 1883. No later date is listed, but B. Harrison was President from 1889-1893, so this book was probably published during those years.

The binding is a little loose. SOLD
