The Prince of India
by Lew Wallace
Beautiful set of the historical tale The Prince of India: Or, Why Constantinople Fell by the author of Ben Hur.
These bright blue decorative volumes are copyrighted 1893 by Harper & Brothers. No later date is listed, so they were probably printed 1893 as well. However, this print contains a dedication "To My Father" which was not included in the first printing.
Minor flaws include some light scuffing and scratches on cover; shelf wear on edges and corners of cover; library stamps from the Community Library of Three Lakes, Wisconsin, and a partially detached title page in volume one. SOLD
