Very rare, gorgeous books. Three large red hardback with black and gold gilt designs. Written in the German language. Extensively illustrated with lavish engravings.
Published in Germany by "Devlag von Sigmund Benfinger." A complete set would contain at least six volumes. I am not sure of the date published. The only dates I could find are as follows (I do believe the printing to be later than these dates, however):
Volume 1 - Erster Band - Dated 1824
Volume 2- Zweiter Band - Forward dated 1837
Volume 3 - Dritter Band - Forward dated 1844
